Holiday spirit . . .

Well, now I'm in the holiday spirit!

Sometimes it just takes a nice event or open house to get you
in the mood for decorating and thinking Christmas.
So . . . . on Saturday I went to pick up my mother and we drove
to Seville, Ohio. There we met up with my sister for girls day out!
First stop:
If you have never been to this antique shop in Northeastern Ohio,
you really should put it at the top of your list!
They have some of the best dealers in Ohio and the country,
and some of whom are dear friends.
During their yearly open house the dealers are all there to chat and educate and share some of their home baked goodies in every booth! Yum!

The top 5 photos are from Seville Antiques.

Then we went across the street to :
A wonderful shop where Garrett Aston creates Windsor chairs, harvest tables and other such wares all in a traditional fashion.
(A Comb back Windsor is on my list of things to save for!)

Photos 6 & 7 (from the top)
Are from The Chairmaker shop.

Then we had lunch in this quaint little town and discussed our days purchases.
Mother found a wonderful antique stool which she will hook a top for.
Lanna found a wonderful sewing stand AND a thread holder!
Me . . . nothing for "work" this time, but I did come home with a few lovelies for our home!

Photos 8 is of my "finds".
Those hand knitted childs red leggings are so wonderful, and I may just tuck
an antique bear into that basket!

Check out the independent businesses in your area!
I'm sure they hold treasures too!

Enjoy,
Lori Ann
