Simply . . . . Christmas

Hello friends,
Each day until Christmas I'd like to share a little of
what makes our holiday special  . . . it's the simple things!
Our home is decorated with simple greens & handcrafted bits, our gifts handmade
by our hands or others. If thats not quite possible we search out American made or the best simple solution.  In general I'm doing my best to re-use, re-purpose, make by hand or at the least
buy an antique!  (My favorite form of re-cycling!)
First up:
Most years I have purchased a small live tree for a big pot on our deck.
This is the spot with the bird feeder . .  . the corner that greets me each morning from the
kitchen windows, the view that begins my day.  When winter comes the pots are empty and look so a bit barren, hence, the tree.
This year we were doing some yard cleaning and I had one of those light bulb moments!
Follow below . . . .
From the Garden, I took one of these.
Then . . . we trimmed one of these!  (trimming quite needed!)
I placed the obelisk in my big pot, stuffed in the branches and now we have
One Of These!
Adorned with lights . . . to make one of these.
Just add snow and we have one of these!
May your Christmas be full of twinkly lights!
