Fleeting Fall . . .

A minute of free time has been precious these past few weeks!
We have had many visitors from mother and her puppy, stepdaughter and grandbaby & stepson.
Meals to cook, shopping to be done (mother loves Costco & World Market !) time spent playing on
slides, hugging teddy bears and having "tea", breakfast out and airport runs.
All that's left now is laundry and cleaning . . .
Oh and yes, the warm memories of time well spent!

I've been fearful that another rain and windstorm would come take all the beautiful leaves
so I stepped outside to grab a few quick photos before the colors are only a memory!
Our Service Berry tree . . .  my favorite yummy spring berries & beautiful fall color!
How could it get any better!
The front stoop ~ gotta love a wonky pumpkin, or two!
Protector of the Pumpkins!
Pumpkins & breadcrumbs in the bird feeder.
The Kitchen Garden . . . a few tidbits still coming from the ground,
sweet potatoes, swiss chard and red beets ~ Yum!!
It's now time to switch gears, in decor and mindset!
Thanksgiving and Christmas are not far off
and there are bears and bunnies and squirrels to be stitched!

Enjoy the days . . .  they are much shorter now!

I love the coziness this time of year brings ~ shorter days means more time spent by the woodstove stitching :)
Your photos today are beautiful my friend ~
