While we did need a little rain,
We really didn't need a nasty storm!
I know this is quite small compared to what others in
many parts of the country are going through,
but it makes me quite sad to see my redbud tree toppled over . . . again.
She went over during "Ike" a few years back and we had her shored up.
Maybe she is a real trooper and we can get her back up again.
(on a good note...no damage to the fence!)
I'd hate to lose her, she was the first tree we planted
when we moved here, but I guess this is all a part of dealing with
Mother Nature.
I do hope she gets her undies out of a twist soon!!
May the sun shine on you, where ever you are!

O dear, what a shame! Such a sorry sight. I hope you will be able to get it back upright and stake it well. The rest of the garden looks nice and lush.
Hope your tree is able to be saved .Your garden is beautiful .Hugs,Jen
Well, she looks like she's still in one piece! As Roseanne Roseannadanna said, "It's always something".
Love that little tree in the middle!
Thanks all!
Hope to get her staked back up today!

Good luck on Lady Redbud...
I too get very attached to plants and trees, they all have a memory attached to when they were planted.
Sending good vibes that she will be ok!
Hugs, Sarah x
