Wishing you . . .

Good Morning and Merry Christmas to you!
The birds are happily enjoying seeds and fruit while the squirrels vie for
space in the feeder.  The world, if  just for a moment seems peaceful and happy!
We begin our day with a hot cup of coffee by the soft glow of the tree lights.

Speaking of that soft glow . . .
A little share of how we make the dried orange slices hat adorn all the trees in our home.
Begin by slicing oranges about 1/4" or a little less. You can do this with lemons and limes as well!
Lay slices on a plain or foil lined cookie sheet.
Bake in a 200 degree oven maybe 3-5 hours till dry.
The aroma of oranges drying makes the house smell grand!
Even tho these will keep for years I make a new batch each year just for the ambiance!
With a needle and strong thread make a hanging loop & add to your tree.
The glow of the lights will show thru the translucent slices making them look a bit
like staines glass.
From our home to yours . . .
Peace,
Lori Ann, Michael & Lacy Lu too!
