The sun is shining!
We still have a bit of snow on the ground still, but I'll take it!
I've been working on a new pattern these cold days.
Sometimes I wonder what I'm thinking when I design.
(Well, usually I don't really "think", I just do ;-)
A regular rabbit has quite a few pattern pieces to begin with.
But . . .this time I upped that by about a third . . . . more seams and more basting!
But worth it in the end . . . I hope you think so too!

| Dutch is a variation on my free standing standing rabbits, created with the coloring and markings of a real "Dutch" rabbit. He stands sturdily due to a wire armature in his legs & is fully jointed. Created of soft creme & black mohair all of his color contrasts are pieced in. Dutch stands about 13" to ear tips. |
